They will be taking part in a conversation on management and giving you an overview of what music managers actually do?
The panel will be discussing will be is what is the role of a Talent Manager in 2023? Are Artist Managers the new A&R’s? When does an artist need a manager? What role does the manager play in an artist’s career? How has the role of the manager changed over the years? What goes into a management contract, and what makes a fair deal? Does a 20% management commission model really work, and is it fair to managers? How do managers make money? What skills do you need to be an Artist Manager? What makes a great deal for your client? Finally, managers traditionally have gotten a bad rep for ripping off artists but is it the other way around?
